  • Relevance: How does it assist in both professional and personal development?

    Answer: The pace of real life@work demands our attention. The rate of personal and professional burnout, fatigue, and disengagement is occurring at an alarming pace. Sustained personal and professional leadership requires resilience, increased capacity to anticipate needs, and the capability to respond to change, along with the ability to be intentional and focused on what aligns with your values and the vision of your employer. It helps if you’re also a warm, engaging leader with clear boundaries. If you need growth in any of these areas coaching offers you a trusted 3rd party perspective, guidance, and accountability over an agreed period of time, with a range of inclusions and supports.

  • Measurement of Success: How do you measure it?

    Answer: Coaching is both subjective and tactical. Your outcomes are determined by how well you coachee implement learnings, respond to accountability and participate in the sessions. All our Coaching programs require the participant to complete a self-assessment survey on enrolment to procure your starting point or baseline. If the employer is sponsoring your involvement they may suggest you focus on key areas and we would need to discuss these as part of the program to confirm the suitability of these for your coaching program.

  • Confidentiality: Is what I say private or will it be shared with my boss?

    Answer: The privacy and confidentiality of a coaching relationship are essential components of a trust-based relationship. When you self-fund your coaching with us, everything is absolutely private.
    In instances where participation is employer-sponsored i.e. they’ve paid for it, you and your employer may have agreed on milestones and discussions points that can be shared. In our 10 Propel and 15 Performance Coaching Programs, we typically have 1-2 joint meetings with your employer. As a coach, we are the coaching recipient’s trusted provider and we will prompt the coaching recipient to take the lead responding to employer questions during these catchups.

 

  • Perception: Am I being offered this because my up-line sees me as a go-getter and wants to invest in me or because s/he doesn’t want to spend the time with me?

    AnswerIn our initial meeting we clarify perceptions and have really open conversations about barriers that might be a risk and we agree on strategies to ensure you receive the absolute best outcome for you, through this coaching opportunity. You the coaching recipient are our number one priority while honouring boundaries and clarifying expectations BEFORE any coaching engagement takes place.

 

  • Rapport: Do I get to choose if we’re a great fit or not?

  • Duration: How long do I participate in coaching when I have so much to do already?

    Answer: Hey, everybody is busy right? More importantly, are we being effective. Your time and attention is very valuable – and so is ours. That’s why choosing the most appropriate Leadership | Executive Coaching Program option from our Table of Value will enable you to consider the timeframe of coaching that best suits your workplace demand and workflow. We find the majority of our clients choose the 15 session program, run over 9-12 months.

 

  • Content: What do we cover as core elements and is there flexibility for emerging issues, scenario work and role-playing?

    Answer: In addition to the coachee’s emerging issues or focused KPI objectives, our Signature 7 Leadership Framework™ is at the heart of our Propel and Performance Programs providing a mixed-mode of core elements and flexibility for both employer-sponsored Leadership and Executive Coaching Packages, and the self-funded and highly motivated entrepreneur or executive

 

  • Face to Face Delivery: I would prefer to travel to you Tarran on the Gold Coast, rather than do electronic or virtual meetings. Is this possible?

    Answer: We love working with our clients face to face and typically set aside one day a week for our interstate and intrastate clients to meet with us at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. Appointment times are typically one-hour blocks, with some clients electing to do two back-to-back sessions, once a month, and virtual at other times.

 

  • Past Clients: where have your past clients come from – location and industry?

    Answer: Location Mix – Executive Coaching recipients have participated virtually from across Australia including Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Malaysia, Singapore, United States, and New Zealand.
